PADI Instructor Training
The PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Instructor Development Course (IDC) is an essential program for those aspiring to become certified PADI diving instructors. This course prepares candidates to teach and certify divers while emphasizing safety and professionalism in various diving environments.
After successfully completing the PADI IDC, candidates proceed to the Instructor Examination (IE), which is the final step in becoming a certified PADI instructor. This course opens up a variety of career opportunities in the diving industry and allows instructors to share their passion for diving with others.
Expect to spend 10-12 days in classroom and practical preparation with Ron Cantrell, PADI Course Director, and your IDC cohort. This will likely take the shape of four three-day weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) beginning in July and concluding in time for the Dallas-based Instructor Examination September 13 and 14.
